TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION

All competitors must register prior to the start of the Championship. Players that do not register may be disqualified. Official tournament registration will be held at The Royal Ottawa Golf Club: Monday, August 16 at 11:00am - 5:00pm.

OFFICIAL PRACTICE ROUND

All qualified players are entitled to a practice round at The Royal Ottawa Golf Club August 16, 2010. Please call the Golf Shop at (819) 777-3866 ext. 208 to book a time.

INTER-PROVINCIAL TEAM MEMBER PRACTICE ROUND

Practice Round tee times for Provincial Team Members on Monday August 16 at The Royal Ottawa Golf Club are as follows:

*Non-playing team captains can pick up team information in the RCGA tournament office at Royal Ottawa

TEAM PHOTOGRAPHS

Official Provincial Team photos will be taken promptly at 5:00 p.m. Monday, August 16 prior to the Flag Raising Ceremony. PROVINCIAL TEAM MEMBERS ARE TO ARRIVE NO LATER THAN 5:00 FOR PICTURES AND TO RECEIVE INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CEREMONY.

OPENING CEREMONIES AND WELCOME RECEPTION

The RCGA, host tournament committee, and The Royal Ottawa Golf Club invite you to attend the Opening Flag Raising Ceremony, Monday, August 16 at 5:00pm. All players and guests are welcome to attend. Dress is golf attire.

PLAYER DINNER (FULL FIELD)

All participants are invited to the Player Dinner on Monday, August 16, at The Royal Ottawa Golf Club. The Reception will begin at 6:00pm, followed by the Player Dinner at approximately 7:00pm. Dress is golf attire.

HOST HOTEL

The Crown Plaza Ottawa is the official host hotel for the championship and is offering a rate of $95. Please refer to the 'Canadian Mid-Amateur Championship' when making your reservation. You can make reservations by calling (613) 237-3600 ext. 6200 or by e-mail to cpreservations@silverbirchhotels.com. A shuttle service will be available between this hotel and the golf course (approx.15 minutes).

Additional Rooms are available at the Hotel Indigo ($119). Please call (613) 231-6555 or toll free 1-877-660-8550 for reservations and refer to the 'GOL $119'. A shuttle service will be available between this hotel and the golf course (approx. 15 minutes).

STARTING TIMES

Starting times for the first and second rounds will be made available at registration, in the RCGA Tournament Office and in the Golf Shop on Tuesday, August 10th, at 8:00 a.m. Second round Inter-Provincial and individual third and final round starting times will be available in the evening preceding play at approximately 8:30 p.m. online at www.golfcanada.ca/championships, in the RCGA Tournament Office, the Golf Shop, and after 9:00 p.m. at the host hotel.

DRESS CODE

The RCGA Dress Code is in effect during the entire Championship. If you have any questions, please consult the RCGA web site or with an RCGA Tournament Official.

CADDIES

Caddies will be available to all participants. Please indicate that you require a caddie on the official entry form. The cost of a caddie is $40.00/round. Additional caddies are available on a first come - first served basis. You may also reserve a caddie by contacting The Royal Ottawa Pro Shop prior to August 9.

CLUBHOUSE FACILITIES

The Royal Ottawa Golf Club and will be open daily at 6:30am. The clubhouse restaurants have a varied menu to serve the needs of players and guests throughout the week. Cash and Credit Cards will be accepted throughout the Clubhouse and Pro Shop areas.

PRACTICE FACILITIES

Practice Facilities at The Royal Ottawa Golf Club will be available to all tournament players for the duration of the Championship. Range will open each day at 6:30am - balls are complimentary, courtesy of the host club and organizing committee.

LOCKERS & CLUB STORAGE

There is storage available at The Royal Ottawa Golf Club. Please notify The Royal Ottawa Pro Shop prior to August 9 for availability.

NO SHOW POLICY

If you find you cannot compete in the championship, you must officially withdraw from the event by contacting Adam Helmer at 800-263-0009 ext.244. If you do not officially withdraw, you may be subject to DISQUALIFICATION from future RCGA and provincial competitions.
