 
This summer, from August 16-20, it will be the The Royal Ottawa Golf Club's privilege and pleasure to host the Canadian Men's Mid-Amateur Championship. This prestigious event is expected to draw an international field of 156 amateur golfers aged 25 and over, including ten provincial teams. Those teams will concurrently compete for the Inter-provincial Team Championship, the R. Bruce Forbes Trophy.
The Royal Ottawa Golf Club is fully committed to the Mid-Amateur Championship as we believe it is our duty to support the continued promotion & development of the sport to which we owe our existence. We are proud that we have been asked by the RCGA to offer our course, our Club, and its amenities to some of Canada's most promising young golfers.
We hope that you will take this opportunity to join us at our Club to see, first hand, how this game we love should be played. You are welcome to watch the practice rounds on Monday as well as the tournament rounds Tuesday through Friday. We encourage you to bring the junior golfers in your family to watch as well.
